Ice dancing partners are used to express their romantic emotions on the ice. But how does it work when you need to express your love intentions towards your own sibling? Such situation can be tricky but there were sibling pairs who overcame that, learnt how to act and made the history with their interpretations on the ice. Let’s take a look at the most memorable brothers and sisters within the ice dancing field!
アイスダンスのパートナー達はかつて、彼らのロマンティックな感情を氷の上で表現した。しかし、愛の対象を自分のきょうだいに向けて表現する必要があるとき、どう作用するのか？そんな状況はやりにくくなるだろうが、どのように演じるかを身に着け、それを乗り越え、氷上の表現で歴史を作ったきょうだいペア達がいる。アイスダンスで最も記憶に残るきょうだい達を見てみよう！

ジャパンの誇りになったチーム
Cathy and Chris were born in USA to their Japanese mother and American father. They represented U.S. for three seasons but moved to team Japan in 2006. They skipped the junior category completely and during their nine years of rich senior career managed to win seven Japanese national titles and to become one of the most successful and memorable skaters representing Japanese ice dancing.
キャシーとクリスは、日本人の母とアメリカ人の父の間に、アメリカで生まれた。彼らは3シーズン、アメリカ代表だったが、2006年に日本チームに移った。彼らはジュニア・カテゴリーを全く飛び越し、9年間の豊かなシニアでのキャリアの間に、全日本のタイトルを7回獲り、最も成功し、記憶に残る日本を代表するアイスダンスのスケーターになった。
Their best placement at World championships was 13th place in 2011. Cathy has announced her retirement from the sport this year in April. Chris recently shared that he will continue with new partner, Kana Muramoto.
世界選手権での最高位は、2011年の13位。キャシーはこの競技からの引退を、今年の4月に発表した。クリスは最近、新しいパートナーの村元哉中と続けることを伝えた。

Maia and Alex have been skating together from 2004. During their debut season in seniors they made a mark in records for U.S. ice dancing when they won the World bronze medal in 2011. They haven’t repeated their success within the world scene yet but they surely belong to top 10 teams internationally. They are also very active on their social media accounts where they go by the nick name “ShibSibs”.
マイアとアレックスは2004年から一緒にスケートをしている。シニアのデビュー・シーズンの2011年の世界選手権で銅メダルを獲り、彼らはアメリカのアイスダンスの記録を作った。彼らはその成功を、世界選手権ではまだ繰り返してはいないが、彼らは確かに世界のトップ10に入っている。彼らはソーシャル・メディアでも「シブシブズ」というニックネームのアカウント名で、とても活動的だ。
Maia and Alex have their own Youtube channel where they regularly post vlogs, bits from competitions and funny sketches and montages. Shibs are definitely the prototype of modern ice dancing team who loves to interact with their fans online.
マイアとアレックスは、彼ら自身のユーチューブ・チャンネルを持ち、定期的にブログや競技会からの小品、おかしい短編とモンタージュを貼っている。シブズは間違いなく、オンラインで彼らのファンとの交流を愛する、現代的なアイスダンス・チームの原型だ。
